Kendallisms!

"Let's watch Happy Toes!" "I love that Happy Toes!" - The movie Happy Feet.

"Oh, a spider bit my tummy." He says this when he is not feeling well.

Right after waking up as he rubs his eyes, "Mommy, there is a sandbox in my eyes."

The Boyz!

I can't get enough of em! I love overhearing their little conversations and watching them interact with one another. They have become the best of buddies!

Papa, You're a Dream!

After 4th of July breakfast we settled into Mammy and Papa's backyard. The water games began. The kids chucked water balloons at their favorite target, Papa, ran through the giant water globe, and swam.

One of my favorite things about this day is...the food. Mammy really puts on a mean spread. Grilled corn and her famous baby back ribs were on the top of everyone's list!

After we ate and the sun went down a bit, we headed over to Mike and Deb's for some fireworks! They had whole cul-de-sac lit up!

Red, White and Blue Bikes!

There is nothing like celebrating your countries independence with a big ole bike parade! The kids loaded up their bikes with all sorts of goodies and then we headed to our wards annual breakfast!

Did I Mention?

(Insert Rocky music now) I love the The United States of America!!! I love our founding fathers and I love a good bike parade to celebrate it all!

Hangin' Out...

We decided to head up to Flat Irons and spend the day at the mall. The boys just got new sun glasses so they were more than happy to sport their new look.

It was a TAD hot outside. How to keep cool? Everybody ignore the signs that say no climbing or wading, ignore the security guard sitting at the table, and illegally dip your toes in the pools.

Chatfield

To celebrate Doug's birthday we had foil dinners and smores at the lake. I really like this picture of Doug. Always thinkin'.

I'm pretty sure he is the most motivating, positive person I've ever met. I'm glad he was born. I love his guts.

The Enchanted Suitcase!

My sister-in-law and I made these suitcases this week. We thought it would be fun to have a little store for the kids to go shopping when they were good for the day.

This has been my secret weapon (at least for now). The boys have been trying to be extremely good so that I will open the store.

My favorite part is that I stocked it full of stuff from the thrift store and sales that I have run into.

Happy shopping!

Best Part of the Day!

At night I look forward to mornings so much. I love that the kids go from Justin and I for their daily snuggle while they try to wake up.

I love that we all watch an episode of Tom and Jerry and then begin to think that a bowl of oatmeal with pecans and craisins sure would taste good.

I love it when they look at the bucket list and say they want to paint with pudding or blow bubbles that day.

I love that when were trying to get on with the day, they request listening to the High School Musical Soundtracks while they make their beds and do their jobs.

I REALLY love it when they do it with out fighting, crying, or whining.

What Gets Us Up In the Morning?

As soon as the boys wake up, they run to the fridge to pick out something fun to do for the day. We got together one evening and wrote down everyone's ideas including Nathan's to go and watch the Avalanche play.

There's just one problem...Summer is going by WAY too fast!
