Fruit Pizza- Yummy, Yummy!

.
The three things I can't live without are:

1. A bowl of cereal before bed.
2. I have to have my toenails painted at all times.
3. Fresh fruit- especially in the summer.

It's bittersweet now that summer is wrapping up so to make one last attempt to keep it alive- I made a fruit pizza. It's dang good and super easy. Two things I love in the same sentence. All it is: your favorite sugar cookie dough, a cream cheese frosting, and your favorite fruits. Yum!

What's your guess?

I had a Dr.'s appointment and I was told that I was one and a half centimeters dilated and 70% effaced. Yea! Progression is always nice. Oh yea- the most exciting part is that the baby turned and the head is down! So as of now, no c-section is scheduled. This brings us to the fun part. Leave us your guess of the day the baby will be born and what you think the weight/length will be and the person closest will get a prize. Woo-Hoo!! Happy Guessing!!

Yee Haw!!!

There is nothing like starting fall off with a chili cookoff, barn dance, and a hay ride! That's what we did on Saturday night. Nathan LOVES tractors and couldn't wait all night for the hay ride!

It's never too early for some Holiday Organization!

.
My sister in law, Sara made this holiday planner for me. I love it!! I think everyone needs one for a little extra help with Christmas ideas. It has sections for Gifts, Recipes, To Do, and Notes. It even comes with a calendar and a pocket for all your receipts. It is such a great way to get organized even if Christmas is 4 months away!

Peach Jam Paradise

Have a jar of jam, or two.....or ten!!!! This weekend my mom and I went a little crazy and canned 65 jars of peach jam. Now, it's usually a tradition to make jam and have it with homemade bread in the fall but we had a few too many peaches this year. We are going to need a lot of bread!!! I think our brains were on overload, (especially mine) because halfway through the process we figured out I was forgetting the sugar on a few batches and the lemon juice here and there. In the end we figured it out and we were crankin out the jars by the dozens. If you're craving some comfort food, you know where to find us!
